Augustus Futebol Clube's Agenor Lucas got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Barros in the 5th minute of play forced Augustus Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Olgierd Klimkiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roi Beamud could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Jorge Félix made a huge save. 9 minutes into the game, Olívio Madureira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Augustus Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brebe FC the free kick. Olívio Madureira kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Agenor Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Augustus Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Agenor Lucas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Félix breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jorge Félix made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Olívio Madureira sent off a good shot on target. Jorge Félix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agenor Lucas in the 18th minute of the match. Olívio Madureira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Félix having to interfere. Gilmar Freitas charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilmar Freitas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st match minute, Brebe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilmar Freitas to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Brebe FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Wellington Gaspar hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Augustus Futebol Clube's Cássio Faria got a free kick in the 30th minute. With his leg Jorge Félix managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Augustus Futebol Clube's Roi Beamud fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Raimundo Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Olgierd Klimkiewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augustus Futebol Clube's Olgierd Klimkiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Barros in the 45th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raimundo Barros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Raimundo Barros struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Olgierd Klimkiewicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brebe FC. In the 58th minute, Agenor Lucas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Olívio Madureira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos do Valle hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Olívio Madureira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Félix having to interfere. Olgierd Klimkiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Barros in the 74th minute of play. Jorge Félix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roi Beamud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute of the match Cássio Faria sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jorge Félix skillfully saved the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
