Spectators: 7262 (Terracing: 5448, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rubinho Pires took the kick off in the first half of the match. José Maria Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Mattos in the 9th minute of play. Raphael Simões recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Cafezeiros FC's Raphael Simões sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Maria Moura narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Raphael Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Maria Moura having to interfere. José Maria Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raphael Simões in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Guarda's goal looked a bit too open when Raphael Simões came free, but José Maria Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Allan Campidelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubinho Pires in the 24th minute of play. Allan Campidelis was a little too slow when Antônio Perez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 1-1. José Maria Moura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Mattos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Guarda getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Bruninho Braga hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Guarda's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Mattos came free, but José Maria Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Ian Mattos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raphael Simões scored 1-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Maria Moura, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Cafezeiros FC's Raphael Simões in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guarda's goalie prevented a goal. José Maria Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ian Mattos, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guarda's goalkeeper José Maria Moura, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aluísio Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the match, Guarda's Paulinho Matorin broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The Guarda players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cafezeiros FC were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ian Mattos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Cafezeiros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian Mattos to maneuver through the defense. Nestor Maia took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Allan Campidelis. Allan Campidelis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Délio Maciel was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 66 minutes into the match. After 66 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cafezeiros FC! Allan Campidelis had in the 69thth minute some difficulties stopping Paulinho Matorin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Ian Mattos put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of José Maria Moura. Guarda's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Claudinei Viana scored to the left of an out of position José Maria Moura, making the score, 2-4. Ian Mattos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Maria Moura made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ian Mattos in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Cafezeiros FC's Ian Mattos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Maria Moura narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 89th minute of the match Paulinho Matorin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Allan Campidelis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ian Mattos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of José Maria Moura when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Claudinei Viana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Maria Moura having to make a save. Ian Mattos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ian Mattos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. José Maria Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
