Juie's Thomás Quintal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Juie from getting a goal against them. Henry Jones took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remo Lira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute, Caetano Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Romeu Barral came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Juie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romeu Barral couldn't finish the play. Guto de Godoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Thomás Quintal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomás Quintal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guto de Godoy went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Thomás Quintal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 38 minutes of play, Juie's Nilson Pitta made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henry Jones was left in no man's land by his defense there! 44 minutes into the game, Nilson Pitta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Henry Jones was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 48 minutes into the match, Remo Lira notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Tayassu EC's Henry Jones. Henry Jones was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Tayassu EC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Juie were winning 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nilson Pitta to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Remo Lira notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Tayassu EC's Henry Jones. Henry Jones was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilson Pitta in the 60th minute of play forced Tayassu EC's goalkeeper Henry Jones to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Juie's Henry Jones threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jorginho Secco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Remo Lira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Henry Jones when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Remo Lira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Henry Jones made a huge save. Henry Jones made an important save on a dangerous shot by Remo Lira in the 77th minute. Nilson Pitta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henry Jones having to make a save. Remo Lira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Jones having to interfere. In the 84th minute Nilson Pitta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Jones saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henry Jones made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Remo Lira sent off a good shot on target. Nilson Pitta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Jones having to interfere. In the 89th match minute, Tayassu EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manoel Meira to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute Nilson Pitta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Jones saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Remo Lira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henry Jones. Tayassu EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Remo Lira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. When the match had gone on for 98 minutes, Nilson Pitta took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Henry Jones to make any attempt to save it.
