Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gilberto Motta kicked off to start the match. Sport Club Trindade's Olívio Ramalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Sport Club Trindade from getting a goal against them. In the 8th minute, BALAVENUTO FC's Amauri Donato dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. If Dênis Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the game, Dênis Seco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Olívio Ramalho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Olívio Ramalho was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Amauri Donato capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Amauri Donato really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. In the 28th match minute, Sport Club Trindade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelinho Lopez to maneuver through the defense. After 29 minutes, Thomás Barreto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sport Club Trindade and the BALAVENUTO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of BALAVENUTO FC booed when Sport Club Trindade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomás Barreto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 35 played minutes BALAVENUTO FC got a freekick which was hit by Luizinho de Carvalho. Juarês Peixoto charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juarês Peixoto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to BALAVENUTO FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Juarês Peixoto hit a great ball. Dênis Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amauri Donato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olívio Ramalho having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amauri Donato stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dráuzio Baptista might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adalberto Rosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dráuzio Baptista ran back to his position shaking his head. Olívio Ramalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dênis Seco in the 53rd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the game, Marcelinho Lopez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sport Club Trindade's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BALAVENUTO FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Sport Club Trindade's Marcelinho Lopez got a free kick in the 54th minute. Olívio Ramalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amauri Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dênis Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 62 minutes, Amauri Donato managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BALAVENUTO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amauri Donato was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Olívio Ramalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dênis Seco in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Dênis Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luizinho de Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Olívio Ramalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dênis Seco in the 73rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sport Club Trindade's Marcelinho Lopez got a free kick in the 74th minute. Olívio Ramalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amauri Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. BALAVENUTO FC's Adalberto Rosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Motta in the 79th minute of play. Amauri Donato struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Olívio Ramalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BALAVENUTO FC. Olívio Ramalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dênis Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amauri Donato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dênis Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Olívio Ramalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 90 in the game by Andrézinho Prestes from a close distance when the talented Adalberto Rosa managed to make a qualified save. BALAVENUTO FC's players were relieved. Olívio Ramalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dênis Seco in the 91st minute of play. Amauri Donato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sport Club Trindade's Olívio Ramalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrinho Matorin in the 95th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the BALAVENUTO FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
