Wilian Gerber made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 5thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Wilian Paraíba would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. In the 7th minute Víktor Teles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilian Paraíba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilian Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Víktor Teles, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Ulisses da Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Leopoldo da Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulisses da Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilian Paraíba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Víktor Teles in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Maurinho da Cunha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leopoldo da Silveira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 26 minutes in the game, Wilian Gerber fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Wilian Paraíba having to interfere. After 27 played minutes Cruzeiro to got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Teles. If Wilian Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilian Gerber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Cruzeiro to's goalkeeper Wilian Paraíba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilian Gerber. Víktor Teles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilian Paraíba having to interfere. In the 41st match minute, Cruzeiro to was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murilo Coutinho to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Cruzeiro to were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Víktor Teles to strike the kick off in the second half. Víktor Teles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Wilian Paraíba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilian Paraíba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Víktor Teles in the 56th minute of the match. Wilian Gerber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the match, Víktor Teles notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Cruzeiro to's Wilian Paraíba. Wilian Paraíba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Wilian Gerber's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilian Paraíba was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. When Descoberto's Víktor Teles in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cruzeiro to's goalie prevented a goal. Ulisses da Silveira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leopoldo da Silveira having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tiago Terra during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rubens Brito took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wilian Paraíba. Cruzeiro to's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Wilian Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilian Gerber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilian Gerber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Wilian Paraíba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Víktor Teles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilian Paraíba. Cruzeiro to's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Víktor Teles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Descoberto had won after a very even match.
