Cido Monteiro helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of ROSA DE SARON booed when Pavucu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cido Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Anselmo Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silas Neiva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Denílson Cardoso went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Silas Neiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato do Vale in the 31st minute of play. In the 35th minute, Jorge Pinheiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silas Neiva was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Silas Neiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato do Vale in the 40th minute of the match. After the first half ROSA DE SARON were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Jorge Pinheiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Silas Neiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Jorge Pinheiro took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Silas Neiva to make any attempt to save it. In the 65th minute Humberto Lira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Paulo Prado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denílson Cardoso charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
