Spectators: 6931 (Terracing: 5431, Seating: 1495, VIP seats: 5) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vladimir Koehler got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Monumental Dragões's zone, Agostinho Santana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Washington Sabóia came out of the goal and Agostinho Santana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Washington Sabóia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Paulo Tróia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Agostinho Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Espanha SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Agostinho Santana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Washington Sabóia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Monumental Dragões's Washington Sabóia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernandinho Zanette in the 12th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Fernandinho Zanette had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Washington Sabóia. Monumental Dragões's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernandinho Zanette was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If João Paulo Tróia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Paulo Tróia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Washington Sabóia came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Espanha SS's João Paulo Tróia. But to his dismay, João Paulo Tróia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Agostinho Santana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st minute, Vladimir Koehler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute Agostinho Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Washington Sabóia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Paulo Tróia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Washington Sabóia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Paulo Tróia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Washington Sabóia having to interfere. When João Paulo Tróia came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Espanha SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Paulo Tróia couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute, Célio Goiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for João Paulo Tróia to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Agostinho Santana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vladimir Koehler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. André Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Espanha SS's João Paulo Tróia got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute, João Paulo Tróia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Washington Sabóia. The goal made the score 0-4. Monumental Dragões's Washington Sabóia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Paulo Tróia in the 77th minute of play. João Paulo Tróia was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 80th minute. Espanha SS's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. João Paulo Tróia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Washington Sabóia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Paulo Tróia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Washington Sabóia having to interfere.
