Imperatriz.Fc's Afonsinho Pernambucano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldinho Valadares in the 25th minute of play. Adrianinho Vasconcelos's late challenge caught a Imperatriz.Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrianinho Vasconcelos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th minute, Adrianinho Vasconcelos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Mirituba EC's zone, José Vítor Ceresso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ian Arantes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hílton de Sousa made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when José Vítor Ceresso sent off a good shot on target. Afonsinho Pernambucano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldinho Valadares in the 71st minute of the match. Nilton Mandrak kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Imperatriz.Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldinho Valadares came free, but Afonsinho Pernambucano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
