The wind increased when Afonso de Queirós made the kick off in the second half. Américo do Valle blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Delfim Secco having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Américo do Valle in the 60th minute of play forced Emboscada SC's goalkeeper Delfim Secco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the game, João Pedro Quirino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Emboscada SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Biquinhas the free kick. In the 60th minute, João Pedro Quirino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Emboscada SC's zone, Américo do Valle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delfim Secco came out of the goal and Américo do Valle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Biquinhas's Caetano Esteves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Biquinhas from getting a goal against them. Afonso de Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Caetano Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Afonso de Queirós struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Caetano Esteves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Emboscada SC. Biquinhas's Caetano Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso de Queirós in the 73rd minute of play. After having played for 76 minutes, Luiz Fabiano Meirelles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Emboscada SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Fabiano Meirelles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Caetano Esteves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Fabiano Meirelles in the 88th minute. After 89 played minutes Afonso de Queirós rounded Biquinhas's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. After having played for 96 minutes, Luiz Fabiano Meirelles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
