Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the game, João Paulo de Carvalho threw the ball into play from the sideline. Parrapato's Sílvio Luiz Mineiro quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Bahia de Munique's Cauã Paraense got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duda Rosa in the 10th minute of play forced Parrapato's goalkeeper Tadeu Tróia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Bahia de Munique's goal looked a bit too open when Ulysses Abreu came free, but Ivo Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Parrapato booed when Bahia de Munique was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romário de Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 16 minutes, Noel Félix mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Parrapato and the Bahia de Munique players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Parrapato was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Félix to maneuver through the defense. Bahia de Munique's Romário de Alcântara got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romário de Alcântara got free with Tadeu Tróia in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 21st minute, Dino Nunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tadeu Tróia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romário de Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bahia de Munique's Germano de Carvalho got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 29 played minutes Parrapato got a freekick which was hit by Geovani de Medeiros. Tadeu Tróia acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 30th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dedé Veloso. In the 32nd minute, Adelino Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Duda Rosa came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Bahia de Munique fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duda Rosa couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute, Geovani de Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romário de Alcântara received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tadeu Tróia came out and tried to block the shot, but Romário de Alcântara slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 44th minute. In the 47th minute, Duda Rosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jorginho Rocha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tadeu Tróia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duda Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romário de Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeu Tróia having to interfere. Tadeu Tróia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cauã Paraense in the 67th minute of the match. Romeo Jilăveanu had several of the Bahia de Munique's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 73 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Ivo Rocha as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a rather tough play, Bahia de Munique's Jorginho Rocha got a free kick in the 78th minute. With splendid footwork Ulysses Abreu arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-2 by the left pole in the game's 79th minute. When Romeo Jilăveanu, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 82 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ivo Rocha was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Parrapato's Romeo Jilăveanu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ivo Rocha. Ivo Rocha yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. After a rather tough play, Bahia de Munique's Romário de Alcântara got a free kick in the 86th minute. If Jorginho Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Parrapato were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Bahia de Munique's much stronger midfield.
