An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamim Mandrak in the 73rd minute of play forced Laranja Mecânica FC's goalkeeper Wincent Plaski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Garuva had won after a very even match.
