When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Segundo Erroman sped through esperança's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jerônimo Melo. esperança's Jerônimo Melo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save esperança from getting a goal against them. After 16 minutes, Segundo Erroman made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. esperança's Jerônimo Melo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 21 minutes, Nelson Domingues mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the esperança and the Wêslley players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Wêslley booed when esperança was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelson Domingues didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Cafu Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Segundo Erroman didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 3-0 via right post in the game's 27th minute. Wêslley's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! When Segundo Erroman came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Wêslley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Segundo Erroman couldn't finish the play. Manolo Bueno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fellipe Oliveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Fellipe Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciro Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in esperança's zone, Murillo Prado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerônimo Melo came out of the goal and Murillo Prado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fellipe Oliveira to strike the kick off in the second half. Egídio Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerônimo Melo having to interfere. Segundo Erroman struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Jerônimo Melo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wêslley. Jerônimo Melo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Segundo Erroman's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. After 71 minutes, Segundo Erroman made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. esperança's Jerônimo Melo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 75 minutes into the game, Wêslley's Segundo Erroman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jerônimo Melo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. If Edgard Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Fellipe Oliveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Ciro Duarte fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored esperança's protests and gave Ciro Duarte a yellow card for diving instead. esperança's Jerônimo Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Erroman in the 89th minute of play. Segundo Erroman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 92nd minute, Egídio Lopez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 97 minutes into the match, Murillo Prado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jerônimo Melo. esperança's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Murillo Prado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. When the referee ended the match the Wêslley players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
