Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd match minute, Ibiranhem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugênio Dionísio to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Ibiranhem's Anísio Furtado got a free kick in the 8th minute. After having played for 10 minutes, Alfredão Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arapira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredão Marques was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Arapira's Renato Figueiredo in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 22nd minute Gilberto Saraiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joélson Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joélson Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noel Tavares in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Renato Figueiredo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Joélson Godoi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alfredão Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Renato Figueiredo came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Arapira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Renato Figueiredo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renato Figueiredo in the 34th minute of play forced Ibiranhem's goalkeeper Joélson Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. William Veiga hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After 37 minutes of play, Arapira's Alfredão Marques made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joélson Godoi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ibiranhem's Joélson Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renato Figueiredo in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ernesto Paraibano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Tiago Saraiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ernesto Paraibano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joélson Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato Figueiredo in the 62nd minute of play. Renato Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 67 minutes of play, Arapira's Noel Tavares made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joélson Godoi was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ibiranhem! After 75 minutes, Noel Tavares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arapira and the Ibiranhem players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tiago Saraiva struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Tarcisio Pitta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ibiranhem. Renato Figueiredo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Joélson Godoi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 79 minutes into the match, Ibiranhem's goalkeeper Joélson Godoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Renato Figueiredo. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rogério Diniz during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ibiranhem booed when Arapira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogério Diniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Saraiva in the 85th minute of play forced Ibiranhem's goalkeeper Joélson Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudinei Prata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joélson Godoi having to interfere. In the 88th minute Renato Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joélson Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Ibiranhem's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Saraiva came free, but Joélson Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Renato Figueiredo in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joélson Godoi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle sounded Arapira left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ibiranhem.
