Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Benjamim Velasco kicked off to start the match. Nestor Ribeiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Vítor de Senna having to make a save. If Nestor Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th minute Benjamim Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmílson Gaúcho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmílson Gaúcho was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Benjamim Velasco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Benjamim Velasco really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Kléber Tinoco kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Gamboa's zone, Deivid Palmeira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmílson Gaúcho came out of the goal and Deivid Palmeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamim Velasco in the 19th minute of play forced Gamboa's goalkeeper Edmílson Gaúcho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Váldson Fernandes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, Renato Mendes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edmílson Gaúcho. Gamboa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Renato Mendes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Váldson Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Gamboa's Edmílson Gaúcho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Gamboa from getting a goal against them. Nestor Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Vítor de Senna having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Renato Mendes took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Edmílson Gaúcho to make any attempt to save it. 39 minutes into the match, Albertinho Mota had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edmílson Gaúcho. Gamboa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albertinho Mota was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. A collision led to Gamboa getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Acácio Novaes hit a great ball. Edmílson Gaúcho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamim Velasco in the 46th minute of play. Edinho Gaspar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 48thth minute tested the skills of Edmílson Gaúcho when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dadá Koehler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edmílson Gaúcho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Salgado in the 54th minute of the match. After 56 minutes of play, Barraos FC's Benjamim Velasco made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edmílson Gaúcho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Barraos FC's João Vítor de Senna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Barraos FC from getting a goal against them. In the 72nd minute, Pedro Botelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the game, Benjamim Velasco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Edmílson Gaúcho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Albertinho Mota hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Barraos FC's zone, Nestor Ribeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Vítor de Senna came out of the goal and Nestor Ribeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dadá Koehler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nestor Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmílson Gaúcho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renato Mendes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gamboa's Edmílson Gaúcho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Salgado in the 93rd minute of play. After 97 played minutes Barraos FC got a freekick which was hit by Albertinho Mota. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Barraos FC had won after a very even match.
