Marcus Vander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute, César Hermes fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Sydney da Rocha, passed just outside the right post. César Hermes struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Sydney da Rocha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dansia. After 23 played minutes Real Olympic CF got a freekick which was hit by Betinho de Barros. The crowd rose to their feet as Tibúrcio Sabóia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sydney da Rocha. That made the score 2-0 in the 28 minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, Dansia's César Hermes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sydney da Rocha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Marcus Vander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tibúrcio Sabóia made a kick off. Sydney da Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo de Castro in the 52nd minute of the match. Real Olympic CF's Sydney da Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tibúrcio Sabóia in the 62nd minute of play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sydney da Rocha showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tibúrcio Sabóia in the 92nd minute of play forced Real Olympic CF's goalkeeper Sydney da Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
