Spectators: 6654 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wanderson Vidal kicked off to start the match. In the 6th play minute Jarbas Peres came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Wilian Capixaba. 1-0. In the 10th of the match, Paulo Pitta tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Wilian Capixaba got in the way and made a wonderful save. If Zé Augusto Lira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pombinhos SC's Kaká Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wanderson Vidal in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wanderson Vidal in the 19th minute of play forced Pombinhos SC's goalkeeper Kaká Pires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilian Capixaba made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Jarbas Peres sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 24 minutes, Paulo Pitta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pombinhos SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Pitta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Arnaldo Seco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Laeti FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Téo Moreira hit a great ball. Luís Paulo Passos's late challenge caught a Laeti FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luís Paulo Passos helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Pombinhos SC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Luís Paulo Passos hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Wanderson Vidal made a precise shot to the right of Kaká Pires. Pombinhos SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. When Régis Leme fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laeti FC's protests and gave Régis Leme a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd match minute, Laeti FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Régis Leme to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulo Pitta was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Zé Augusto Lira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kaká Pires. That made the score 1-2 in the 52 minute of play. Wanderson Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaká Pires having to interfere. Pombinhos SC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Wanderson Vidal scored to the left of an out of position Kaká Pires, making the score, 1-3. Wilian Capixaba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Pitta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laeti FC's Wanderson Vidal was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 69th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Paulo Pitta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zé Augusto Lira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaká Pires having to interfere. Kaká Pires stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wanderson Vidal's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Pombinhos SC's goal looked a bit too open when Wanderson Vidal came free, but Kaká Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé Augusto Lira got free with Kaká Pires in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wilian Capixaba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarbas Peres in the 88th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Wanderson Vidal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kaká Pires was relentless in the 91st minute of the game.
