Dinei Severo started the match with the kick off. After 5 played minutes Tacema got a freekick which was hit by Ademir Donato. Célio Félix kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Tacema's Aluísio Leal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Andrițoiu in the 11th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Torres got free with Aluísio Leal in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Andrițoiu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aluísio Leal came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Andrițoiu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 15th minute. Gabriel Torres who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Aluísio Leal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Menelaos Tobias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinei Severo in the 23rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Gabriel Torres could shoot a difficult shot in the 30th minute, which Aluísio Leal however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Torres got free with Aluísio Leal in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Gabriel Torres took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Aluísio Leal to make any attempt to save it. In the 38th minute, Célio Félix ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Menelaos Tobias was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Daniel Andrițoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aluísio Leal having to interfere. Gabriel Torres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Aluísio Leal made a huge save. Aluísio Leal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Andrițoiu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 48 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabriel Torres made a kick off. After some careless play in the Tacema defense, Daniel Andrițoiu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aluísio Leal. The Tacema fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aluísio Leal should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Ademir Donato managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tacema's supporters rose to their feet, but Ademir Donato was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Menelaos Tobias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 66th minute, Daniel Andrițoiu made a precise shot to the right of Aluísio Leal. Tacema's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 7-1 when Daniel Andrițoiu sped through Tacema's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aluísio Leal. Daniel Andrițoiu took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aluísio Leal. Aluísio Leal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-1. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tacema's goalkeeper Aluísio Leal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 95 minutes, Gabriel Torres made it 9-1 with a short kick to the right side. Tacema's Aluísio Leal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Caruaru City walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
