Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Itapirucu's Lúcio Moura started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Ulisses das Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Goiano kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 5 minutes into the game, Júlio Amorim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Andrézinho de Moraes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Júlio Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Rubro Negros F.C booed when Itapirucu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ademir Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andrézinho de Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulisses das Neves in the 22nd minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 25 minutes into the game, when Oséas Guedes put in a rough tackle. In the 27th minute there was a penalty for Rubro Negros F.C. Oscar Koehler stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Andrézinho de Moraes. 0-2. After a rather tough play, Rubro Negros F.C's Lino Proença got a free kick in the 30th minute. Nicolas Freitas hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Germano Lucas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ademir Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Júlio Amorim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andrézinho de Moraes was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. The Itapirucu players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rubro Negros F.C were winning 1-2.

Andrézinho de Moraes made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Júlio Amorim sent off a good shot on target. 59 minutes into the match, Rubro Negros F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Germano Lucas came free, but Marcelo Mattos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Germano Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Mattos having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Murilo Fontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Itapirucu's Andrézinho de Moraes got control of the ball when Ulisses das Neves tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Ulisses das Neves, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 85 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Andrézinho de Moraes was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 89th minute Ademir Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Mattos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Germano Lucas charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Germano Lucas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Itapirucu supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rubro Negros F.C's performance. The match ended with a win for Rubro Negros F.C.
