Artur Fontes struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Walmyr Peres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brebe AD. Roger Cosme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Enéas Vianna made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ronaldinho Moura during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Juventude Socialista EC's Ronaldinho Moura got a free kick in the 15th minute. Mathias Alves struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Walmyr Peres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brebe AD. If Ezequiel Pirani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24thth minute of the game Artur Fontes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Juventude Socialista EC's Walmyr Peres was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jano Prado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miguel de Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Enéas Vianna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enéas Vianna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel de Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 36 minutes into the match, Brebe AD's Ezequiel Pirani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Walmyr Peres narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Brebe AD's Enéas Vianna got control of the ball when Jano Prado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Artur Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodrigo Trigo kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Artur Fontes to make the kick off. Ezequiel Pirani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmyr Peres having to interfere. During the 54th minute of the match Ronaldinho Moura completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ronaldinho Moura a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Jano Prado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ezequiel Pirani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Walmyr Peres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. If Ezequiel Pirani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roger Cosme hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Ezequiel Pirani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brebe AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Ezequiel Pirani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walmyr Peres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brebe AD's Artur Fontes got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Juventude Socialista EC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Ciro Cunha hit a great ball. Artur Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmyr Peres having to interfere. Brebe AD's Ezequiel Pirani got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Artur Fontes might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Walmyr Peres. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Artur Fontes ran back to his position shaking his head. When Brebe AD's Artur Fontes in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Juventude Socialista EC's goalie prevented a goal. If Artur Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walmyr Peres made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Ezequiel Pirani sent off a good shot on target. Enéas Vianna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jano Prado went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Jano Prado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Juventude Socialista EC had won after a very even match.
