To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 79 minutes, Wágner Albuquerque managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cacomera SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wágner Albuquerque was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vicente Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Agenor Brodel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Celsinho Pires read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Geovani Ramalho got his second yellow card in the match during the 96th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Cacomera SC booed when Itatinga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovani Ramalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
