Anemutu's Celsinho Campidelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian Rocha in the 15th minute of play. Duda Garcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcinho Dionísio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Duda Garcia went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Celsinho Campidelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Rocha in the 39th minute of play. Sidnei Favoretto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Celsinho Campidelis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ian Rocha in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celsinho Campidelis saved Anemutu from getting behind. Marcinho Dionísio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duda Garcia in the 46th minute of play. Bruninho Paraibano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Marcinho Dionísio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Patrick Valadares made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Cochichola's Remo Netto got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute Patrick Valadares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcinho Dionísio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Duda Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcinho Dionísio stood somewhat misplaced when Patrick Valadares came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 58 minute. The supporters of Cochichola booed when Anemutu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruninho Paraibano didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Cochichola's Ian Rocha in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Anemutu's goalie prevented a goal. Cochichola's Marcinho Dionísio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Cochichola from getting a goal against them. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cochichola's goalkeeper Marcinho Dionísio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Celsinho Campidelis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Duda Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcinho Dionísio having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Anemutu had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
