After a rather tough play, Bombas EC's Silvinho Messias got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Bebeto Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Pereira in the 5th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ronaldo Pereira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bebeto Cunha. That made the score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. Victor Dracena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Bebeto Cunha made a huge save. Bebeto Cunha made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Victor Dracena sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Pereira in the 20th minute of play forced Bombas EC's goalkeeper Bebeto Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronaldo Pereira in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bebeto Cunha, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 27 minutes into the match, Osorio EC's Victor Dracena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bebeto Cunha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ronaldo Pereira might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bebeto Cunha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ronaldo Pereira ran back to his position shaking his head. 32 minutes into the match, Bombas EC's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Pereira came free, but Bebeto Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victor Dracena succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 33rd playminute. Vitinho Massa was extremely unlucky when he, in the 36th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 37th minute, Ronaldo Pereira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Silvinho Messias hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Bombas EC's Bebeto Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Pereira in the 41st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronaldo Pereira in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bebeto Cunha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Victor Dracena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bebeto Cunha having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Douglas Koehler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ronaldo Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bebeto Cunha having to interfere. In the 55th minute Victor Dracena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bebeto Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Osorio EC's Ronaldo Pereira in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bombas EC's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronaldo Pereira in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bebeto Cunha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bebeto Cunha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronaldo Pereira's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bombas EC's goalkeeper Bebeto Cunha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ronaldo Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Bebeto Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bebeto Cunha came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Osorio EC's Ronaldo Pereira. But to his dismay, Ronaldo Pereira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The supporters of Osorio EC booed when Bombas EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fred Albuquerque didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabrício Negri was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 77th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Osorio EC's Ronaldo Pereira in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bombas EC's goalie prevented a goal. Bombas EC's Bebeto Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Pereira in the 88th minute of play. After 89 played minutes Osorio EC got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo Pereira. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 91st minute of the game. One of Bombas EC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Osorio EC:s goal. When Ronaldo Pereira came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Osorio EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronaldo Pereira couldn't finish the play. Osorio EC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
