Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Frank Sachs kicked off to start the match. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severin Hussein in the 5th minute of play. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gædd FK's goalkeeper Eskil Myhrvold, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eskil Myhrvold having to interfere. Torbjørn Halvorsrud recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 14 played minutes Gædd FK got a freekick which was hit by Kjetil Hellevik. In the 20th minute Albin Holweck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eskil Myhrvold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Albin Holweck notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Gædd FK's Eskil Myhrvold. Eskil Myhrvold was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute, Ken Ernstsen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gædd FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Albin Holweck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eskil Myhrvold read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ken Ernstsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gædd FK were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Torbjørn Halvorsrud took the corner. When Ken Ernstsen fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gædd FK's protests and gave Ken Ernstsen a yellow card for diving instead. Ken Ernstsen hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severin Hussein stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kjetil Hellevik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjetil Hellevik in the 54th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Gædd FK's Severin Hussein. But to his dismay, Severin Hussein quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The supporters of Germany booed when Gædd FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Rognmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Severin Hussein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Kjetil Hellevik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. In the 69th minute Severin Hussein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. Albin Holweck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severin Hussein in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jan-Frode Singstad made in the 88th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ken Ernstsen however managed to control. In the 90th minute Kjetil Hellevik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, Malte Schiele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92ndth minute of the game Ken Ernstsen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gædd FK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
