In the 20th minute, Eugênio Prestes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Annapolis SS booed when Korrila F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Lira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dagoberto Martins took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Oscar Senna. Korrila F. C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Prata in the 25th minute of play forced Korrila F. David Lira helped the player get up and apologised. After 54 played minutes Korrila F. C. got a freekick which was hit by David Lira. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cacá Lira during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match had been going on for 61 minutes, Annapolis SS's Dagoberto Martins got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Oscar Senna. Oscar Senna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ismael Medeiros in the 66th minute. Kléber Zanette took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walmir Toscano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Walmir Toscano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Korrila F. If Abelardo Prata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
