Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luís Guilherme Hoffmann kicked off to start the match. Jonas Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmílson Nunes in the 5th minute of play. In the 9th minute of the match, Enrique Nogueira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luiz Fernando Rocha saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Edmílson Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Guilherme Hoffmann in the 12th minute of play forced Assunguy's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Assunguy's zone, Maurinho Britto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Fernando Rocha came out of the goal and Maurinho Britto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Doriva Freitas kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Jonas Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmílson Nunes in the 27th minute of play. Erivaldo Andrade hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Edmílson Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Andrade having to interfere. Jonas Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Nóbrega in the 39th minute of play. Maurinho Britto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Erivaldo Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Maurinho Britto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sanna's supporters rose to their feet, but Maurinho Britto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Fernando Rocha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Guilherme Hoffmann in the 47th minute of play forced Assunguy's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmílson Nunes made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Edmílson Nunes rounded Sanna's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leandro Nóbrega got free with Jonas Andrade in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luiz Fernando Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Guilherme Hoffmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Fernando Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Guilherme Hoffmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Wilson dos Santos charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Luís Guilherme Hoffmann struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Luiz Fernando Rocha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sanna. The supporters of Sanna booed when Assunguy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilson dos Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luiz Fernando Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Guilherme Hoffmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. When the referee ended the match the Sanna players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
