Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tadeu Pitta made the kick off which started today's match. In the 2nd minute, Erik Loureiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silas Nogueira came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Red Bull Bauru's Hudson Prestes. But to his dismay, Hudson Prestes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Paulo José Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 19th match minute, Red Bull Bauru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mazinho de Senna to maneuver through the defense. If Paulo José Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tadeu Pitta came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Damon BLUE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tadeu Pitta couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Damon BLUE's Silas Nogueira got control of the ball when Hudson Prestes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hudson Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silas Nogueira having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genílson Guerra in the 34th minute of play forced Damon BLUE's goalkeeper Silas Nogueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Genílson Guerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Silas Nogueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hudson Prestes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silas Nogueira having to make a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Genílson Guerra made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genílson Guerra in the 52nd minute of play forced Damon BLUE's goalkeeper Silas Nogueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute Hudson Prestes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silas Nogueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silas Nogueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genílson Guerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Hudson Prestes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Silas Nogueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Genílson Guerra made a precise shot to the right of Silas Nogueira. Damon BLUE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Red Bull Bauru's zone, Paulo José Gonçalves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrézinho Velasco came out of the goal and Paulo José Gonçalves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 63 minutes into the match, Tadeu Pitta dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Andrézinho Velasco, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeu Pitta in the 67th minute of play forced Red Bull Bauru's goalkeeper Andrézinho Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 minutes Red Bull Bauru's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Caio Toledo who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Damon BLUE's Caio Toledo to fire away a dangerous shot which Andrézinho Velasco despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 72nd minute Red Bull Bauru were awarded a corner. Mazinho de Senna went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed Valdomiro Rossi to score against Silas Nogueira in Damon BLUE's goal. 3-1 after 72 minutes. After 76 minutes of play, Red Bull Bauru's Genílson Guerra made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silas Nogueira was left in no man's land by his defense there! 80 minutes into the match, Genílson Guerra notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Damon BLUE's Silas Nogueira. Silas Nogueira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Erik Loureiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Red Bull Bauru players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
