Aguia defense, Pedrinho Toledo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luiz Paulo Duarte. The A.C. Aguia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luiz Paulo Duarte should have stopped the shot. After 12 played minutes Pereiro got a freekick which was hit by Matías Furtado. In the 13th minute, Matías Furtado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Paulo Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Pitta in the 15th minute of the match. Luiz Paulo Duarte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedrinho Toledo's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Luiz Paulo Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kiko Lima in the 18th minute of play. Tales Schmidt succeeded in the game's 27th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. In the 31st minute, Kiko Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the game, Tales Schmidt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Dalmo Simão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Pereiro defense, Tales Schmidt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dalmo Simão. The Pereiro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dalmo Simão should have stopped the shot. A collision led to A.C. Aguia getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Tadeu Trigo hit a great ball. Luiz Paulo Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kiko Lima in the 43rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrinho Toledo in the 45th minute of play forced A.C. Aguia's goalkeeper Luiz Paulo Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fábio de Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Jeferson Pinho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luiz Paulo Duarte. A.C. Aguia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedrinho Toledo to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Pereiro's Jeferson Pinho got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Luiz Paulo Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrinho Toledo in the 57th minute of the match. After 58 played minutes Pereiro got a freekick which was hit by Kiko Lima. A collision led to Pereiro getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Leopoldo Pitta hit a great ball. A.C. Aguia's Luiz Paulo Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrinho Toledo in the 64th minute of play. Dalmo Simão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tales Schmidt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kiko Lima could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Luiz Paulo Duarte made a huge save. In the 72nd match minute, A.C. Aguia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jano Brodel to maneuver through the defense. Matías Furtado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the match, A.C. Aguia's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrinho Toledo came free, but Luiz Paulo Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th match minute, A.C. Aguia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jano Brodel to maneuver through the defense. Luiz Paulo Duarte was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leopoldo Pitta showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-3 in the 85 minute of play. In the 89th minute, Kiko Lima ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luiz Paulo Duarte was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Pedrinho Toledo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luiz Paulo Duarte. That made the score 3-5 in the 95 minute of play. The Pereiro players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
