Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Wiliam Rocha got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Agnaldo Dantas notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Vinagre FC's Jano Donato. Jano Donato was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 10 minutes, Agnaldo Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Viracao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agnaldo Dantas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Laerte Alagoano kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After having played for 12 minutes, Agnaldo Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Viracao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agnaldo Dantas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th minute, Agnaldo Dantas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Agnaldo Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jano Donato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agnaldo Dantas in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 30th minute of the match Tomé Mattos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wilton Pereira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sydney Motta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilton Pereira having to interfere. A collision led to Vinagre FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Reinaldo Cardozo hit a great ball. Sandro Vieira scored 0-2 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jano Donato, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sandro Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the match, Viracao's Agnaldo Dantas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jano Donato narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sandro Vieira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jano Donato read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. A collision led to Viracao getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Luizão Peixoto hit a great ball. After the first half Viracao were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sandro Vieira to make the kick off. After 54 minutes of play, Vinagre FC's Wiliam Rocha made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilton Pereira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Agnaldo Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 65 played minutes Viracao got a freekick which was hit by Olavo Santos. Paulo José Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the game, Olavo Santos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Viracao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vinagre FC the free kick. Olavo Santos hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. When Wiliam Rocha came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Vinagre FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wiliam Rocha couldn't finish the play. When Celso Trigo fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Viracao's protests and gave Celso Trigo a yellow card for diving instead. The referee gave Vinagre FC a penalty, 74 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tomé Mattos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Viracao's Wilton Pereira. 2-3. Agnaldo Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jano Donato having to interfere. Agnaldo Dantas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Vinagre FC's zone, Agnaldo Dantas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jano Donato came out of the goal and Agnaldo Dantas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 99th minute of the match Evandro do Nascimento shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wilton Pereira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Viracao played a much better game than Vinagre FC and deserved their victory. The Vinagre FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
