One of Jauarete FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Extremo Leste FC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 9 minutes, Extremo Leste FC's Yan Travassos got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Nico Azevedo. Thanks to some nice moves Durval Figueiredo could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Nico Azevedo however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, Jauarete FC's Nico Azevedo got control of the ball when Durval Figueiredo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jauarete FC's Nico Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Coutinho in the 20th minute of play. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Nico Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Lopes in the 38th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the game, Jauarete FC's Carlos Augusto Cardoso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lino Negri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Durval Figueiredo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nico Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Coutinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute, Durval Figueiredo made a precise shot to the right of Nico Azevedo. Jauarete FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 61st minute, Durval Figueiredo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Nico Azevedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 72 minutes into the match, Jauarete FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Coutinho came free, but Nico Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lino Negri came out of the goal and Róbson Linares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Durval Figueiredo in the 81st minute of play forced Jauarete FC's goalkeeper Nico Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute, Durval Figueiredo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Extremo Leste FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Carlos Augusto Cardoso scored to the left of an out of position Lino Negri, making the score, 5-2. 91 minutes into the game, Extremo Leste FC's Durval Figueiredo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nico Azevedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Extremo Leste FC had played much better football throughout.
