Bebeto Brasil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dário de Amorim in the 15th minute of the match. Mariquioca AD's Alberto Vidal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Mariquioca AD from getting a goal against them. Rogério Gaúcho succeeded in the game's 19th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. Alberto Vidal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Mariquioca AD getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Claudinei Machado hit a great ball. At last the ball reached Raí Mesquita at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Mariquioca AD. 3-1. When Brasil FC's Rogério Gaúcho in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 58th minute, Reginaldo Chaves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rogério Gaúcho in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alberto Vidal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mariquioca AD's Alberto Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogério Gaúcho in the 65th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rogério Gaúcho in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alberto Vidal saved Mariquioca AD from getting behind. Willian Baiano hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Brasil FC's Abelardo Alves was substituted for Raí Mesquita. Reginaldo Chaves ran back to his position shaking his head. After 102 played minutes Mariquioca AD got a freekick which was hit by Dário de Amorim. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Brasil FC had played much better football throughout.
