With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilberto Vale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute, Arnaldo Košnik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romeu Seco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Romeu Seco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Košnik in the 14th minute of play. If Rui Guimarães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Jorge Teles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Havre's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Teles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilberto Vale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Havre's Pedrão Guimarães in the 26th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Gilberto Vale was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Galo Futebol Show™ through an amazing save. The supporters of Havre booed when Galo Futebol Show™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé dos Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute, Jorge Teles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rui Guimarães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeu Seco having to interfere. Galo Futebol Show™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Rui Guimarães was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romeu Seco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Galo Futebol Show™ getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Tião Marquez hit a great ball. Havre's Romeu Seco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Guimarães in the 46th minute of play. Arnaldo Košnik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Romeu Seco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedrão Guimarães was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Pedrão Guimarães got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rui Guimarães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Romeu Seco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rui Guimarães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeu Seco having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Galo Futebol Show™'s Rui Guimarães sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Romeu Seco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gilberto Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedrão Guimarães, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Galo Futebol Show™ played a much better game than Havre and deserved their victory. The Havre players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
