Afonso Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Veiga in the 4th minute of the match. Piuma SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tero Hanninen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tero Hanninen in the 18th minute of play forced Bolacha SC's goalkeeper Emanuel Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Bolacha SC's goal looked a bit too open when Tero Hanninen came free, but Emanuel Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bolacha SC's Cacá Pereira has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 23rd minute. After a rather tough play, Piuma SS's Jeferson Capixaba got a free kick in the 36th minute. Adhemar Recife's late challenge caught a Piuma SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adhemar Recife helped the player get up and apologised. After 37 played minutes Bolacha SC got a freekick which was hit by Adhemar Recife. A collision led to Piuma SS getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Tero Hanninen hit a great ball. Hermínio Sabóia got a throw-in 39 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Carlos Eduardo Valladares. Afonso Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jardel Simões in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rdth minute of the game Tero Hanninen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bolacha SC's Emanuel Leite was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 44th minute, Bolacha SC's Gabriel Figueiredo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tero Hanninen to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Guto Carneiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Piuma SS and the Bolacha SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Bolacha SC booed when Piuma SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guto Carneiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Afonso Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Veiga in the 54th minute of the match. A collision led to Piuma SS getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Franciszek Birkenhagen hit a great ball. Afonso Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jardel Simões, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clemente Veiga scored 3-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Afonso Borges, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
