Os Alemon's Júnior do Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dedé Nunes in the 31st minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Davide Pietrantoni cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Júnior do Nascimento was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Os Alemon getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Osmar de Amorim hit a great ball. The Wulfs's Gláuber Maia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save The Wulfs from getting a goal against them. When Roberto Secco fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Wulfs's protests and gave Roberto Secco a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Os Alemon booed when The Wulfs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Secco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geovanni Mottas short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Gláuber Maia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After the first half The Wulfs were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Davide Pietrantoni made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Dida Mesquita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Davide Pietrantoni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Dedé Nunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Júnior do Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davide Pietrantoni in the 63rd minute of the match. Davide Pietrantoni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júnior do Nascimento having to interfere. Davide Pietrantoni was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 67th minute. The Wulfs's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Júnior do Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davide Pietrantoni in the 71st minute of the match. Dedé Nunes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Júnior do Nascimento made a huge save.
