The crowd rose to their feet as Amana AD's Cafu Ramalho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Frederico do Vale. That made the score 1-0 after 16 minutes of play. When Olavo Damião fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flecha de Prata's protests and gave Olavo Damião a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 played minutes Flecha de Prata got a freekick which was hit by Olavo Damião. Frederico do Vale made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlinhos Pereira in the 21st minute. Frederico do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cafu Ramalho in the 22nd minute of play. Cafu Ramalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fred Campidelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Vladimir Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frederico do Vale was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Cafu Ramalho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cafu Ramalho really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Percival Romero charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Percival Romero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Amana AD booed when Flecha de Prata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Percival Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience cheered when Carlinhos Pereira's long shot passed Frederico do Vale's right side. It was 3-0, 45 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reynaldo Veloso during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Amana AD booed when Flecha de Prata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Veloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cafu Ramalho in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frederico do Vale saved Flecha de Prata from getting behind. In the 69th minute, one of Flecha de Prata:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Flecha de Prata. Flecha de Prata:s Frederico do Vale showed great skill when he stopped Cafu Ramalho:s penalty. After 72 played minutes Flecha de Prata got a freekick which was hit by Juarês Sergipano. After having played for 72 minutes, Carlinhos Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amana AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlinhos Pereira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74th minute, Juarês Sergipano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Cafu Ramalho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frederico do Vale was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. If Cafu Ramalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87thth minute of the game Cafu Ramalho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flecha de Prata's Frederico do Vale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Enginalp Aktekin might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Frederico do Vale. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enginalp Aktekin ran back to his position shaking his head. Cafu Ramalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juarês Sergipano got his second yellow card in the match during the 92nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Flecha de Prata! An unexpectedly hard shot by Cafu Ramalho in the 95th minute of play forced Flecha de Prata's goalkeeper Frederico do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 97 minutes of play Flecha de Prata's Olavo Damião was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 98th match minute, Flecha de Prata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olavo Damião to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the Amana AD players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
