Maurinho Maia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joris Peysson in the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th match minute, Xl Garotos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franklin de Sousa to maneuver through the defense. Giovani Secco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Reynaldo Bezerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sidney Furlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joris Peysson in the 26th minute of play forced Cajueirinho SS's goalkeeper Maurinho Maia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luizinho Machado took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Maurinho Maia. Cajueirinho SS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Maurinho Maia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Franklin de Sousa went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Yan Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute Dorival Camargo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurinho Maia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute Franklin de Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurinho Maia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maurinho Maia came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Xl Garotos's Joris Peysson. But to his dismay, Joris Peysson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2.

The wind increased when Sidney Furlan made the kick off in the second half. If João Pedro Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joris Peysson got free with Maurinho Maia in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Cajueirinho SS's Maurinho Maia got control of the ball when Joris Peysson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maurinho Maia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yan Moreno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Xl Garotos booed when Cajueirinho SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adhemar Dias didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, Xl Garotos's Franklin de Sousa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. In the 80th minute, Franklin de Sousa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Maurinho Maia. The goal made the score 0-4. 83 minutes into the game, Yan Moreno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Xl Garotos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cajueirinho SS the free kick. Yan Moreno kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cido Guedes during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 88th minute, Cido Guedes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 94 minutes of play, Xl Garotos's Dorival Camargo made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maurinho Maia was left in no man's land by his defense there!
