Orion FC's Lucas Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erivaldo Jacinto in the 18th minute of play. Binga AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Carvalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Freitas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 29th minute, Davi Macedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rui Paiva hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the match, Orion FC's goalkeeper Lucas Freitas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacinto Carvalho. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wesley Ferreira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Binga AD got a freekick which was hit by Gerson Catarinense. João Augusto Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wesley Ferreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Rui Paiva fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Binga AD's protests and gave Rui Paiva a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Binga AD's Rui Paiva got a free kick in the 53rd minute. If Jacinto Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Binga AD's André Luiz Cardozo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Carlos Braga in the 64 minute of the game. 77 minutes into the match, Erivaldo Jacinto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucas Freitas. Orion FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erivaldo Jacinto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 81st minute Jacinto Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Freitas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 83 minutes, Erivaldo Jacinto made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Orion FC's Lucas Freitas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Binga AD players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
