The tension between the Chiapetta and the Mariante FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Chiapetta's Gilson Bueno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evandro Mangueira in the 34th minute of play. In the 46th minute Evandro Mangueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilson Bueno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Mariante FC had played much better football throughout.
