Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Renatinho Severo got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute, Dionísio Cosme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute Jefferson Prata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osmar Pirani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osmar Pirani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jefferson Prata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jefferson Prata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Osmar Pirani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Miracica! In the 26thth minute of the game Inácio Ceresso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Petunia's Valdomiro Romero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Romário Linhares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Osmar Pirani having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dionísio Cosme during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Petunia's Dionísio Cosme got a free kick in the 35th minute. Osmar Pirani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jefferson Prata in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Miracica's Renatinho Severo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valdomiro Romero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romário Linhares got free with Osmar Pirani in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Miracica booed when Petunia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelson Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Inácio Ceresso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miracica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inácio Ceresso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jefferson Prata made a kick off. Renatinho Severo scored 1-1 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valdomiro Romero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jefferson Prata struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Osmar Pirani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Petunia. An unexpected shot in the 59th minute by Renatinho Severo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 60 minutes into the game, Nelson Leão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Petunia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Miracica the free kick. Nelson Leão kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. During the 62nd minute of the match Nelson Leão completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romário Linhares in the 84th minute of play forced Miracica's goalkeeper Osmar Pirani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Miracica's goal looked a bit too open when Romário Linhares came free, but Osmar Pirani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Zé Roberto Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Romário Linhares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Petunia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. 97 minutes into the match, Petunia's goal looked a bit too open when Renatinho Severo came free, but Valdomiro Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petunia's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
