Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Aníbal Moreira started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Canto's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Tiago Gabriel Vergílio scored to the left of an out of position Luís Fernando Severo, making the score, 1-0. A collision led to Canto getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Zé Carlos Figueiredo hit a great ball. Tiago Gabriel Vergílio did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Luís Fernando Severo 21 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Chicão Varela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Lauro Linares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramiro Paraibano hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Canto's Lauro Linares got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st minute Canto were awarded a corner. Edu Tinoco went to the cornerflag to take it. 33 minutes into the match, Lauro Linares notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Capuaba's Rodolfo Cordeiro. Rodolfo Cordeiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sérgio Munhoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Valadares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fernando Severo having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
Chicão Varela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Luís Fernando Severo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Capuaba's goal looked a bit too open when Aníbal Moreira came free, but Rodolfo Cordeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Capuaba's Sérgio Munhoz got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Jorge Valadares came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Capuaba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Valadares couldn't finish the play. Jorge Valadares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Luís Fernando Severo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Capuaba's Sérgio Munhoz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luís Fernando Severo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Capuaba's Jorge Valadares in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Canto's goalie prevented a goal. Sérgio Munhoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fernando Severo having to interfere. José Vítor Pontes kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Capuaba's goalkeeper Rodolfo Cordeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lauro Linares. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chicão Varela in the 89th minute of play forced Canto's goalkeeper Luís Fernando Severo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Carlos Figueiredo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodolfo Cordeiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorge Valadares in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Fernando Severo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jorge Valadares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fernando Severo having to interfere. Luís Fernando Severo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorge Valadares went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Capuaba had played much better football throughout.
