The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the match, Fã Clube do Neto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valdir do Valle came free, but Claudinho Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fã Clube do Neto FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Rodrigo Saldanha scored to the left of an out of position Claudinho Sena, making the score, 0-2. 88 minutes into the match, Valdir do Valle dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Claudinho Sena, 0-3. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Claudinho Sena successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Rodrigo Saldanha got in the 96th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Claudinho Sena handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. The Lions supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lions would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
