Acurizal SS's Remo Nóbrega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vítor Breckenfeld in the 2nd minute of play. 4 minutes into the game, Wilson Netto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Remo Nóbrega. Wilson Netto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Charles Sousa came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Acurizal SS's Claudinei Lucas. But to his dismay, Claudinei Lucas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 14th minute, Vítor Breckenfeld got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Clube Deportivo Sogeking's Vítor Breckenfeld sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Remo Nóbrega narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vítor Breckenfeld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Remo Nóbrega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Acurizal SS's Claudinei Lucas in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Clube Deportivo Sogeking's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Clube Deportivo Sogeking's Wilson Netto got a free kick in the 28th minute. Remo Nóbrega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Breckenfeld in the 34th minute of play. If Ramiro Salgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vítor Breckenfeld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remo Nóbrega having to interfere. Ramiro Salgado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Vítor Breckenfeld made the kick off in the second half. Vânderson Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Charles Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Acurizal SS's Claudinei Lucas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Charles Sousa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 62nd match minute, Clube Deportivo Sogeking was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilson Netto to maneuver through the defense. Kléber Ceresso, 63 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Wilson Netto kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Acurizal SS's Vânderson Esteves got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vânderson Esteves got free with Charles Sousa in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Charles Sousa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Claudinei Lucas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 74 minute of play. The supporters of Acurizal SS booed when Clube Deportivo Sogeking was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Washington Campidelis didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ramiro Salgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Ramiro Salgado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clube Deportivo Sogeking's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramiro Salgado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remo Nóbrega breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Despite being the better team, Clube Deportivo Sogeking failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
