Robinho Fernandez succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 7th playminute. Carlos Augusto Mandrak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinei Penha in the 10th minute of play. Adhemar Severo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Pedro Bueno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robinho Fernandez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adhemar Severo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. If Claudinei Penha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Claudinei Penha succeeded in the game's 23rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. 27 minutes into the match, Claudinei Penha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Augusto Mandrak. Araguana SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudinei Penha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 29th minute Claudinei Penha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Augusto Mandrak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Claudinei Penha notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Araguana SC's Carlos Augusto Mandrak. Carlos Augusto Mandrak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Anton Bopp took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Augusto Mandrak. Carlos Augusto Mandrak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. 1-6 became the score in the 42nd minute when Claudinei Penha elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Anton Bopp might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Augusto Mandrak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anton Bopp ran back to his position shaking his head. Disappointed in the 1-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edvaldo Mesquita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Robinho Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anton Bopp's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Carlos Augusto Mandrak skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Anton Bopp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Augusto Mandrak having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Hammer F.C.'s Anton Bopp dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudinei Penha got free with Carlos Augusto Mandrak in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Claudinei Penha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luís Fábio Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Claudinei Penha struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Carlos Augusto Mandrak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hammer F.C.. Claudinei Penha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Carlos Augusto Mandrak made a huge save. 79 minutes into the match, Claudinei Penha notched a goal, 1-8, to the right of Araguana SC's Carlos Augusto Mandrak. Carlos Augusto Mandrak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Rubens Peixoto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Araguana SC's zone, Claudinei Penha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Augusto Mandrak came out of the goal and Claudinei Penha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Anton Bopp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anton Bopp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claudinei Penha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Carlos Augusto Mandrak made a huge save.
