After having played for 12 minutes, Manuel Vasconcelos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ravenous FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Vasconcelos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kléberson Pitta kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Samuel de Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dráusio Severo, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 20th minute Manuel Vasconcelos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Francisco Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ravenous FC's Dráusio Severo got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manuel Vasconcelos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Samuel de Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ravenous FC's Dráusio Severo got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Vasconcelos in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuel de Carvalho saved CE LAJEADENSE RS from getting behind. Baltazar Cavalcante made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Francisco Castro sent off a good shot on target. Samuel de Carvalho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dráusio Severo's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Ravenous FC's Manuel Vasconcelos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samuel de Carvalho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thomás Ceresso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Samuel de Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Ravenous FC's Mateus Ferraz got a free kick in the 65th minute.
