The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Geovânio Abraão was the one to do the kick off. Durvalino Marinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Elder Bertassi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Alan Almeida fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BaruerinThians's protests and gave Alan Almeida a yellow card for diving instead. After 78 played minutes BaruerinThians got a freekick which was hit by Alan Almeida. Nilton Vergílio made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Dida Tepedino sent off a good shot on target. In the 85th minute, Dida Tepedino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dida Tepedino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elder Bertassi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Durvalino Marinho went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
