Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alexsandro Lucas started the match with the kick off. Severino Vinhas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexsandro Lucas's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. In the 8thth minute of the game Haroldo Simões who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cacarongonga's Severino Vinhas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Victor Loureiro hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the game, Imortal Tricolor's Natanael Prata nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severino Vinhas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Júnior Meirelles took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Severino Vinhas. Severino Vinhas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 30 minutes into the match, Cacarongonga's goal looked a bit too open when Alexsandro Lucas came free, but Severino Vinhas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Imortal Tricolor were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Augusto de Sousa made a kick off. 0-5 became the score in the 51st minute when Haroldo Simões elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Haroldo Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luiz Eduardo Sabóia charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luiz Eduardo Sabóia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luiz Eduardo Sabóia kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After 68 played minutes Cacarongonga got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Eduardo Sabóia. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Haroldo Simões in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severino Vinhas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Haroldo Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Cacarongonga's Alfredinho Motta got a free kick in the 77th minute. Júnior Meirelles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Severino Vinhas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Cacarongonga's zone, Haroldo Simões stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severino Vinhas came out of the goal and Haroldo Simões tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Cacarongonga's goalkeeper Severino Vinhas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alexsandro Lucas succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 86th playminute. The Imortal Tricolor fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when Imortal Tricolor's Alexsandro Lucas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 95th minute, Alexsandro Lucas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Severino Vinhas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. When the final whistle sounded Imortal Tricolor left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cacarongonga.
