Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alexsandro Lucas kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Imortal Tricolor getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Alexsandro Lucas hit a great ball. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Manuel EC's goalkeeper Geovânio Veiga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Pedro Severo in the 8th minute of play forced Imortal Tricolor's goalkeeper José Maria Koehler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Maria Koehler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armindo Neves in the 13th minute of play. After having played for 16 minutes, Alexsandro Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Imortal Tricolor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexsandro Lucas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Valério Meirelles came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Manuel EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valério Meirelles couldn't finish the play. Haroldo Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Geovânio Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tadeu Rosado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Maria Koehler having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Geovânio Veiga successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Manuel EC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Valério Meirelles hit a great ball. Geovânio Veiga made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Alexsandro Lucas sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Manuel EC's Armindo Neves got a free kick in the 37th minute. Manuel EC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Haroldo Simões scored to the left of an out of position Geovânio Veiga, making the score, 1-0. After 46 played minutes Manuel EC got a freekick which was hit by Serginho Vianna. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zé Pedro Severo to strike the kick off in the second half. When Imortal Tricolor's Haroldo Simões in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Manuel EC's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Imortal Tricolor's Gino Abraão got a free kick in the 54th minute. During the 57th minute of the match Gino Abraão completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Gino Abraão a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Gino Abraão hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Imortal Tricolor's zone, Christian Paranaense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Maria Koehler came out of the goal and Christian Paranaense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Haroldo Simões blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Geovânio Veiga having to make a save. Haroldo Simões recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 68 minutes, Haroldo Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Imortal Tricolor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haroldo Simões was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Manuel EC defense, Haroldo Simões kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geovânio Veiga. The Manuel EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geovânio Veiga should have stopped the shot. Haroldo Simões's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geovânio Veiga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Imortal Tricolor's Haroldo Simões got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 83 played minutes Imortal Tricolor got a freekick which was hit by Natanael Prata. Zé Pedro Severo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Manuel EC's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Simões came free, but Geovânio Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute Júnior Meirelles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovânio Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Haroldo Simões got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Imortal Tricolor had played much better football throughout.
