Elias Cardoso came out of the goal and Reginaldo de Carvalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute, Reginaldo de Carvalho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elias Cardoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reginaldo de Carvalho in the 61st minute of play. Silas Vidal who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Vágner Salgado when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Elias Cardoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matías Rosado went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 70th minute, Dé Coelho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hernani Mineiro's late challenge caught a Fernandynhu FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hernani Mineiro helped the player get up and apologised. Fernandynhu FC's Dé Coelho got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Fernandynhu FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Waldir Oliveira hit a great ball. Elias Cardoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matías Rosado's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Vágner Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dé Coelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Elias Cardoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reginaldo de Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Protecao fans cheered their team off the field, for while Fernandynhu FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
