With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fiori Amaral in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filipe Branco saved Tortinho EC from getting behind. 15 minutes into the game, Ivo Abraão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tortinho EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave São Salvador the free kick. Paulão de Amaral struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Filipe Branco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for São Salvador. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Paulão de Amaral put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Filipe Branco. A collision led to Tortinho EC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Rogério Dantas hit a great ball. Filipe Branco was a little too slow when Dé Soares got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 2-0. Paulão de Amaral who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Filipe Branco when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 43 minutes into the game, São Salvador's Dé Soares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filipe Branco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Paulão de Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Filipe Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulão de Amaral made a kick off. Fiori Amaral struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Filipe Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulão de Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filipe Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulão de Amaral in the 57th minute of play. Cléber Santos hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute Paulão de Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filipe Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filipe Branco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agostinho Gonçalves went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. If Paulão de Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the game, Ronaldão Zanette cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Filipe Branco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 78th minute Ronaldão Zanette shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filipe Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tortinho EC's Filipe Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fiori Amaral in the 79th minute of play. Pedro Paulo de Sena charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Agostinho Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Paulão de Amaral made a precise shot to the right of Filipe Branco. Tortinho EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. São Salvador had played much better football throughout.
