After 24 played minutes Skyfall got a freekick which was hit by Charles Puyol. After 62 minutes of play, Skyfall's Andres Drogba made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flavio Vittori was left in no man's land by his defense there! Skyfall's Anselmo De Toni was substituted for Anfilogino Arpaia. Skyfall made a substitution. Elano Salgado replaced Attilio Martorella. Ervigio Ojeda might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Flavio Vittori. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ervigio Ojeda ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 68th minute Ervigio Ojeda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Özalp Erdönmez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Vittori having to interfere. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. In the 86thth minute of the game Adriano Curto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skyfall's Feyzullay İltemur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ervigio Ojeda in the 89th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ervigio Ojeda in the 92nd minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Italy's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Skyfall had won, even though Italy had held more of the ball.
