After having played for 4 minutes, Dino Porto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Resplendor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dino Porto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Massaranduba FC's Elói Dracena got control of the ball when Benê Salgado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benê Salgado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Elói Dracena made a huge save. With splendid footwork Dino Porto arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-0 by the left pole in the game's 14th minute. In the 19th minute Dino Porto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elói Dracena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Massaranduba FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Dráusio Massa hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dino Porto in the 21st minute of play forced Massaranduba FC's goalkeeper Elói Dracena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Bruno Fantini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benê Salgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elói Dracena having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Dino Porto in the 24th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 26 minutes into the match, Resplendor's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Ceresso came free, but Jacinto Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacinto Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Ceresso in the 28th minute of play. When Norberto de Amorim came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Massaranduba FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norberto de Amorim couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute, Norberto de Amorim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacinto Mendes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Massaranduba FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Dino Porto 37 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dino Porto made a kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Resplendor's Benê Salgado made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elói Dracena was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Massaranduba FC's goalkeeper Elói Dracena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Norberto de Amorim blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacinto Mendes having to make a save. Jacinto Ceresso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Jacinto Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Resplendor's Sidnei Teixeira got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute, Felippe Favoretto fired a really elegant long shot, but Jacinto Mendes threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Norberto de Amorim in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jacinto Mendes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jacinto Ceresso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacinto Mendes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. If Dino Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Fantini charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruno Fantini the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Massaranduba FC's Bruno Fantini got a free kick in the 85th minute. A collision led to Resplendor getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Edmílson Peixoto hit a great ball. Norberto de Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Massaranduba FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
